Some may consider this bullying or a diss but it really is Mr. Leon at his finest. Meaning, him being him. He has never shied from saying what he feels and typically his big mouth gets him into trouble. None the less that has never stopped him. Surviving and advancing is one way he goes about things and sometimes his hot fire lyrics/edgy cadence burns the whole town and forest down. You can hear he was having fun and deliberately meant this as a joke. This is one of those times to not take him so seriously. We got word that he cited ‘The Boondocks’, Kat Williams, whom voiced the character ‘A Pimp Named Slickback’ from the show all as inspirations to this ego driven bravado of a song. Insiders said it was actually a real nickname Mr. Leon was given at one point in his life. He did not disclose a time table of when it was given to him but did say a professor gave it to him. It apparently also comes with a hysterical story that he wished to keep to himself. Instead, it was disclosed he formerly had offers to become a pimp for some ladies he knew but turned down the offer. Simply put, this song is a banger and most will say they hate that they love this song. It seems that was what he was going for and the catchiness of the hook leaves us wondering what is next! Until we met again folks!
P.S. have a wonderful 4th of July weekend and I hope it starts off with some laughs and smiles!
